Some things about me:

• I'm part of the Karthauser family. (josef@karthauser.org)
• I'm a developer for the FreeBSD operating system. (joe@FreeBSD.org). My FreeBSD page can be found here.
• I run a research organisation called Tao Research (joe@tao.org.uk), have affiliation with the Educational Trust Company, and the Ostberger project.

• I read Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at Sussex University's Cognitive Sciences Department between the years of 1992 and 1995. My university disseration was on making a musical improvisation machine.
• I'm currently reading for my master's degree in Particle Theory in Sussex University's Particle Theory Group.

• For a strange reason I appear to be fascinated by circles.
